Advent is the season of preparation lasting the four weeks before the feast of Christmas. It is a time of study and reflection as we prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ in history, in our own lives, and at the End of all things. During Advent we decorate our homes and the church with symbols of faith. We study the Bible to learn more of God’s intention in the Incarnation. We meet together in fellowship to bolster one another and to enjoy good company. So we will mark Advent in our worship services starting December 1, with special music and the Advent wreath. We will gather as a church family on Wednesday evenings Dec. 4, 11, & 18 at 6:00-7:30 pm for Advent All Together,” an intergenerational program including potluck supper, a Bible story, songs, and some fun. Mark your calendars now! All are welcome to join us!
