Bible Text: Luke 9:28-36 | Rev. David A. Douthett
It's Transfiguration of the Lord Sunday, one of those odd church days we do every year after the season of Epiphany and just before Lent starts. It's when Jesus went up the mountain with three disciples to pray. He is transformed in glory and meets with Moses and Elijah, the heroes of centuries past. Naturally this makes an impact on the disciples. We imagine what that scene must have been like and what it means for us.
Scripture: Luke 9:28-36
