Bible Text: Luke 2:8-20, Ephesians 3:7-21 | Rev. David A. Douthett
The shepherds who received the good news of the Messiah's birth have their world radically changed in that one moment. They ended their adventure praising and glorifying God. The apostle Paul suffered all sorts of hardship as a traveling missionary, and yet the surpassing worth of his experiences of the Risen Christ moved him to worship. Worship is our primary response to God's grace and goodness toward us and our primary service to God as disciples. That's why our worship is an excellent gift for Jesus Christ, our Coming King.
