Bible Text: Philippians 4:4-13 |

This week we are recognizing our graduates in the Class of 2020. Pastor David has a brief sermon based on Philippians 4:4-13 using a graduated cylinder. Then four of our graduates tell us of their experiences and their thoughts about the state of the world and a life of faith plays a role. We also have an anthem from the Herndon-Pierce family! It's a full service reminding us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Notes from the Preacher

Just for those who might be interested, I showed a cylinder with different colored liquids in layers. This is possible because of their different densities. If you'd like to try it, you can get a similar container and carefully, slowly, add each layer. I used, in order from the bottom, milk (whole milk would be best), dish soap, water (colored red), canola oil, and rubbing alcohol (colored green).
