Bible Text: John 14:1-14, Acts 7:51-60 |

We continue in the season of Eastertide, a time of celebrating the Resurrection of Christ Jesus and examining the implications of the great event. This week, we return to John's telling of the Last Supper, where Jesus promises his presence and power to the disciples because he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We also examine the story of Stephen, one of the first deacons of the young church and its first martyr. The Resurrection brings us newness of life, but it also requires a great deal of us. What sort of faith legacy will we leave?

We will celebrate communion in worship today. If you want to participate virtually, be sure to have some bread and juice or wine (or the closest things you have on hand) for everyone joining in. Then just follow along when we get to that part of the service.
