We have done a series of interviews over the past couple years with some of our mission partners, that is organizations that are working to help the homeless, the thirsty, the naked, the stranger, the sick, and the imprisoned. Today we offer the next installment in that series with an interview featuring Rizwan Jaka from the ADAMS Center Muslim Community. Mr. Jaka is the ADAMS chair for Interfaith Relations and he chairs the ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network. Pastor David and Elder Connie Moore, the CPC Mission Team chair, sit down with Rizwan to discuss the ADAMS Center and especially their work with Afghan evacuees and refugees. It's been just about a year since the U.S. completed its withdrawal from Afghanistan and the frantic, chaotic evacuation of many of our Afghan allies and their families. CPC sent some financial support to the ADAMS Center, but now you get to hear about the massive undertaking they organized to help over 78,000 evacuees.
