Bible Text: Luke 19:28-23:35 | Rev. David A. Douthett
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, Jesus' last week of public ministry, his betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion. He arrived in Jerusalem for the Passover celebration and was welcomed with praise from the crowds. But it only took a few days before the machinations of the chief priests and others turned the tide against him. We will tell the story of those fateful events from Jesus' triumphant entry through his being sentenced to death, giving us the opportunity to reflect on his sacrifice of love for us.
Special thanks to our readers: Jeff, Sue, Reg, and Richard, and to our song leaders: Jeff, Molly, and Richard, and to the choir, Don, and Mark, and to the tech wizards: Russ and Logan, all of whom were essential in making this service work.
