Bible Text: 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13, Luke 21:25-36 |

Series:

As we begin the season of Advent in preparation for the feast of Christmas, we will reflect on how Christ's birth in history, his coming into our lives, and his coming in power at the end of all things can give birth to faith in us. Each week we will consider that faith from a different angle, and we begin this week with Hope. Hope is an act of creative memory and imagination, often put into action to change what is into what should be. Its birth is found in starting to believe in that change, which is empowered by Christ and the Holy Spirit.
