This Sunday we will the Reign of Christ the King. This is the last Sunday in the liturgical year, marking the culmination of history when Christ will return to usher in the perfect reign of the Kingdom of Heaven. We are reminded once more that through his sacrificial death and resurrection, Jesus won the reconciliation of the world to God, and God has given him dominion over all the nations. It is a time to express our loyalty and thanksgiving.
