Series:

The season of Lent is a time of preparation for the feast of Easter that leads us with Jesus on the road to the cross. While it ends in victory and resurrection, it is a difficult spiritual journey, and we need to be intentional about it. This year we will explore some ways Jesus acted in his preparation for that ultimate conflict and how we might follow him. The sermon series is called "To Be the Christ," and our first exploration is "Focus." Before he even began his public ministry, Jesus faced off against the devil in the wilderness. Jesus lives out his role as the Christ by his unrelenting obedience to God. What can we learn from his choices and tactics?

We celebrate the Lord's Supper in worship this morning. To participate virtually, you will want to have a piece of bread and some juice or wine, or the nearest equivalents you have on hand.
