***We had a glitch in the live stream today, so the first part of the service through the passing of the peace is the first video. The rest of the service is in the second video.***
Is anybody anxious about anything happening this week? The election maybe? If so, you aren’t alone. There is a lot at stake, of course. Does our faith provide any guidance or solace for this angst? Well, I should hope so! We’ll try to keep things in perspective of the gospel and the claim of Christ on our lives. I’ve heard that Jesus might have faced times with a lot at stake himself.
This is All Saints Sunday, so we’ll take a little time in the service to remember the faithful who have gone ahead of us to see what no eye has seen. We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper. To join us virtually in the sacrament, participants will need some bread and some fruit of the vine (grape juice, wine, grapes, raisins, or the closest you have on hand), and then just follow along when we get to that part of the service.
