Bible Text: Mark 12:38-44 |

In today's scripture, Jesus teaches about the hypocrisy of the scribes and how that would be bad for them. This is followed by a scene of comparative generosity or lack thereof in the temple as a poor widow contributes all she has. It will be important to decide where we sit in the story to figure out how we can grow to be more like Jesus. Members of the congregation help out with the sermon today and do a great job.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper in worship today. If you want to participate with us, you will need some bread and wine or grape juice, or the closest things you have available.

We also have a congregational meeting for the election of officers immediately following the worship service. (Discussion and voting are now closed, since the meeting is in fact over and adjourned.)
