This is Holy Week, the high holy days for Christians around the globe. Here’s a quick summary of our activities for this week.
April 9 – Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday
Worship will include both the procession of the palms and the procession of the cross.
April 13 – Maundy Thursday, 6:00 p.m.
We are invited to Saint Andrew Presbyterian in Purcellville to celebrate a seder meal.
April 14 – Good Friday, 7:00 p.m.
Good Friday worship will be at CPC with Saint Andrew PC. Both church choirs will sing, and four pastors will preach.
April 16 – Easter Sunday
7:00 a.m. – We will host the Easter Sunrise Worship service with Waterford Baptist Church, and Rev. Jerry Turner will preach.
8:00 a.m. – Easter Fellowship Breakfast with WBC in our fellowship hall.
10:30 a.m. – Easter Egg Hunt for pre-K to grade 5
11:00 a.m. – Easter Worship Service will include lots of music, and we will celebrate the Resurrection with holy communion.
