Virginia Peacock, Historian

The mission of the Presbyterian Women is to commit themselves to nurture their faith through prayer and Bible Study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build a caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church.

The Presbyterian Women of Catoctin meet monthly as a Circle in member's homes to share coffee, friendship and Bible study. Two luncheon meetings are scheduled each year. Currently the Presbyterian Women are involved in active support of Interfaith Relief, an interagency service which provides food for those in need in Loudoun County. Funds are raised through such projects as the production and sale of a Loudoun County heritage cookbook and notecards, and the sale of home grown vegetables. Special offerings are received annually, including a birthday offering. We support world-wide mission projects as well as local church activities with contributions.

All women of Catoctin Presbyterian Church are encouraged to participate in the programs of the Presbyterian women. They meet the third Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Please contact a moderator for the location.
