Haiti is one of the poorest countries on earth, plagued by political turmoil, earthquakes, hurricanes, and low GDP. The Haitian people suffer daily from illiteracy, hunger, water shortages, and corruption. And yet, there is hope–by transforming lives one child at a time. The Community Coalition for Haiti (CCH) has worked tirelessly for 25+ years to help with literacy, health care, and nutrition for school children and their families.

On Sept 17th Clark Seipt, the Executive Director of the Community Coalition for Haiti, will bring an immersive Haiti experience to Waterford through life-size replicas of a CCH Healthcare Clinic, a Partner School Classroom, and a Haitian home. Participants will “meet” Haitians to learn about their lives and challenges and to hear about CCH’s literacy, health care, and water initiatives.

Catoctin Presbyterian Church is partnered with CCH to improve the lives of everyday Haitian families and children. Everyone in the community is invited to join us. For more details, please contact conniewmoore@gmail.com or text 540-550-0915.
