Bible Text: Exodus 16:2-4, 9-15 |

Pastor David is on vacation, but not to worry! Elder Connie does a fine job leading the service. Our guest preacher (via https://www.asermonforeverysunday.com) is the Rev. Dr. Eunjoo Mary Kim, an ordained Presbyterian minister and Professor of Homiletics and Liturgics at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. In this sermon she talks about the stress of moving from her home in Princeton, NJ, to the mountains of Colorado. A week after the moving truck had been unloaded of its cargo she and her husband were still surrounded by cardboard boxes. But one night around midnight, when they were feeling especially lost and lonely, it began to snow. For Kim, it was like the manna in Exodus 16:2-4, 9-15: an assurance of God’s presence and provision even in a strange land.
