Beloved in Christ,

I’d like to invite you to join us for our next Wednesday Bible study series that begins Wednesday night, May 10, at 6:45 p.m. It’s from the Follow Me series on biblical practices for faithful living and deeper discipleship that comes from the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Honor God’s Diversity

Diversity is a word that is getting a real workout these days! Everyone seems to be talking about it in one way or another. What does the Bible have to say about diversity? You might be surprised to find there is quite a lot!
So if you are wondering what diversity might mean for Jesus’ followers today, or if you think it’s just some fad or bandwagon, or if you wish you knew more so you could answer other people’s questions and arguments, this might be a great place to start.
Dr. Justin Reed, assistant professor of Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at Louisville Theological Seminary, has put together a four-session course to look at some of the basic biblical issues around diversity. These aren’t easy questions, but Dr. Reed provides some excellent insights that I think you will appreciate and learn from.
I’ll be leading the class, which will be hybrid, in person in the sanctuary and on Zoom (click here). So please plan to join us for this important, challenging, and enriching course, Wednesdays, May 10, 17, 24, and 31 at 6:45 p.m. We are recording the lessons and posting them to our YouTube channel for those who can’t be with us live.
If you have any questions, feel free to drop me an email or give me a call at 571-293-6543.

Grace and peace!
