We are wrapping up a series of sermons on Paul's letter to the Philippians today. As we turn to chapter 4, Paul offers some personal encouragement to some of his coworkers, then he offers some of his most beautiful teaching about finding the peace that passes understanding, and all this was written from prison. We can be sure the Philippian church was strengthened by Paul's words. We, too, can learn to deal with our wild, chaotic, violent, broken world through the peace we can find in Christ our Lord.
