Bible Text: Hebrews 2:9-11, 14-18, John 12:23-33 |

It's World Communion Sunday! Christians around the world will celebrate the Lord's Supper today AND will be aware that others are doing it, too. With the world reeling from so much pain, separation, violence, and suffering, it seems like a good time to intentionally reflect on the suffering of Christ, which we recall, reenact, and join in through the sacrament. In the sermon today, we'll consider the implications of human suffering and what it means that Christ joins us in suffering. (SPOILER: It ends with Good News!)

ATTENTION: There may be some triggers here for those who have suffered various kinds of trauma. Be of good courage!
