Series:

We are taking an unexpected turn in our biblical journey this week, jumping from the second gospel to the fourth. We'll explain why in the sermon, but our destination this time is John's gospel. Written near the end of the first century, this book is significantly different from the other three stories of Jesus in the New Testament, focusing much more on Jesus' divinity and the gift of oneness that comes with the love of God. It is a rich and complex book that points us toward a key goal of Christian faith that has received remarkably little attention!

We will celebrate communion in our worship today, so if you want to participate virtually, be sure to have some elements - bread and wine or juice from the vine - and follow along when we get to that part of the service.
